Guidelines for your stay

1) Only the listed Guest(s) will be allowed access to the Property

2) There will not be any events allowed at the Property such as: Bachelor or Bachelorette Parties, Weddings or other events

3) The Guests will not have access to the garage or to the other locked owner closets

 

4) All guests use the pool at their own risk. It is the sole responsibility of the guests to monitor all people that use the pool

5) All guests must use caution around the Property to prevent slips and falls by not allowing the floors to get wet and slippery. If the floors get wet it is the Guest's responsibility to clean up such conditions to prevent any slips and falls

6) Since the Property is in such a natural paradise all guest should take all means to conserve, water and electricity. Since each room has its own AC units please turn off when not in the rooms. Please turn off any unnecessary lights. The Exterior landscape lighting is automatically controlled and will turn off each night at 10:00pm. 

7) There are quiet hours imposed by the HOA that the Guest must follow. The quiet hours are 10:00pm to 6:00am everyday. If there are any noise complaints issued against the Guest the Host has the Right to terminate this agreement and there will not be any refund of balance of the rental fee.

8) There is daily housekeeping included in the rental fee Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm except holidays

9) There are towels provided for the Guest use. There are towels for the bathroom which should only be used in the bathrooms. There are pool towels provided and should only be used at the Property's pool and there are beach towels that can be taken to the beach but must be returned. Any missing towels will be charged a fee of $30/towel. 

10) It is the Guests responsibility to make sure that the house is secured at all times, when not at the Property all the doors and windows should be secured and locked. When retiring for the night it is the Guests responsibility to secure and lock all the doors and windows and not to leave anything of value out in the open or outdoors.

11) Each bedroom will have it's own set of keys and a lockbox will be provided per room to store the Keys, so the keys don’t have to leave the property and get lost. There will be a $100 fee for lost keys and a $200 lockout fee if someone needs to come to let the Guest into the house

12) There is a washer and dryer on the Property and can be used by the guest. The Housekeeper will be willing to do the laundry but during her normal work hours only 

13) The Linen on the beds get changed once a week only. It desired to be changed more often there will be an additional fee to do so. 

14) The Bathroom towels will be deemed dirty and will be washed if they are laying on the floor or left wet on the bed or furniture. There is a clothes line in the showers

15) If there is something that gets broken if reported immediately to the housekeeper there will be no charge if it discovered prior to the notification than a charge will be assessed 

16) There is an outdoor refrigerator by the pool bar. Drinks are best stored there so that while wet from the pool you can retrieve cold refreshments.

17) The indoor stove and the outdoor Grill run off Propane. If for some reason you run out of propane please let the housekeeper know and we will have more delivered

18) The living area of the house is designed to have the windows opened so that the house gets a wonderful breeze. Please use caution and care while opening and closing. These windows they are large and should be opened and closed slowly. There are no screens in the living area but there are screens on the bedroom windows.

19) Please remember that we are living in the tropical rainforest and there will be insects and chameleons and whatever, occasionally in the house or about. We try not kill them but to transport them to an area that is not in anyone's way. We do have an exterminating service to prevent this from happening but it will happen from time to time.

20) There is garbage pick up on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays about 3:00pm. The housekeeper will make sure the garbage is taken out in time to be picked up. We also have a recycling services on the same days. Glass, Cardboard and Plastic is recycled here but must be separated. 

21) The landscapers come once a week and are there for most of the day. They will not need the Guest to do anything but the Guest must be aware that they will be coming and allow them to do their work.

 

22) The pool maintenance company comes 3 times a week they will be there only about 30 minutes each time. They will be cleaning the pool and checking water quality. If there is many leaves in the pool they will need to vacuum the pool. This is a salt water pool so there is very little chemicals used in the pool so you can swim right after the maintenance performed. The Guest will need to allow this service to happen when scheduled.

23) There are security cameras on the property. These are to watch the driveway and the rear of the house, the pool is not in view. There are no cameras in the house or bedrooms or near the pool. These cameras are on 24 hours a day everyday of the week.

24) The guest must inspect the Property upon arrival for any obvious damage that should be noted and communicated to the Host, so the Guest will not be held liable for the noted damage

25) No pets are allowed on the Property

26) There is no smoking allowed in the House

27) No Illegal activities will be permitted on the Property

28) The Security Deposit will be returned in full if no damage or missing items were identified by the Host within 7 days. If there is damage or missing items the replacement cost will be deducted from the security deposit and the unused portion of the security deposit will be returned within 30 days
